We believe in adopting an overall healthy lifestyle to improve and enhance total well being. We encourage healthy habits that allow you to establish realistic goals, reach them and maintain your success through doable lifestyle practices. Through a blend of dynamic strength, cardiovascular conditioning, mind body practices and flexibility disciplines, Vita Vie Retreat aims to create the perfect physical and mental balance allowing your body to function optimally. Our goal is to help motivate and guide you to your goals in a way that leaves you feeling healthy and inspired!

The Team

Vita Vie Retreat has created a team of the most encouraging, knowledgeable and caring trainers to work with our fitness retreat clients. Most of our trainers have upwards of 8 years of experience in their respective fields. Our trainers are all nationally certified, insured and have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in their respective fields to be eligible to work with Vita Vie Retreat. All trainers take their jobs very seriously and aim to achieve the best results possible for each and every client that attends our fitness retreat. Our goal is to provide a safe and comfortable environment.

Other additional team members are qualified with education and experience to back up their knowledge. They are passionate about what they do and are here for you 100%. Team members are here to enhance your retreat making your stay with us one to remember.

Margot Rutigliano is the owner of Vita Vie Retreat.

Her Experience: 17 years of Experience – Margot created Vita Vie Retreat in 2006 with a goal of creating a way for people to disconnect from life to focus completely on themselves. She was first certified as a personal trainer in 2000 and has since studied movement of the body extensively. Currently certified by ISSA as a personal trainer, she is also a corrective exercise specialist and studies biomechanics. She is a certified nutrition and health coach through Precision Nutrition completing both Level 1 & Level 2 Masterclass programs. Margot is well versed in advanced nutrition and advanced coaching to include athlete nutrition, disordered eating, eating behaviors, the psychology of eating and lifestyle habits. She is passionate about holistic wellness and natural living and practices these daily. She has trained people from all walks of life – teachers, doctors, lawyers, lawmakers, celebrities, moms, dads, daughters, friends and so many more. From Margot - “I love pushing my clients to achieve their goals – even the ones they never thought possible.”

Her Approach: Life is all about balance. The goal is not to be perfect. The goal is to be the best that you can be. Ultimately, each person is unique with different needs physically, nutritionally and mentally. Her mission is to help each person find their true balance within movement, mindset and nourishment.

A Little Bit About Margot: Margot moved to Florida from Charleston, SC in 2007 and now resides in Boynton Beach. A lover of all things ocean, she enjoys stepping foot on the beach daily with her dog, paddle boarding and relaxing in the ocean breezes. She loves evening walks at the beach, golf and being active outdoors as much as possible. Living the salt life and loving fitness, creating a beachside retreat made perfect sense!

Her Experience: Christine Thomas is certified on mat and equipment in classical Pilates along with a certification for Power Plate and Zumba. Christine currently dances and teaches professionally for several Ballet companies and studios, together with her Pilates, Power Plate and Zumba Instruction. Her Dance training includes: Academy Lidija Franklin, Maria Teresa Ballet School and Nina Novak Academy. Ms. Thomas participated at Jackson International Ballet competition VI and VII. She received 1st place in the summer workshop by the London Ballet in 1995. She danced with National Ballet Juvenile of Venezuela, Ballet Classic of Camara , Tulsa Ballet Theater, Ballet Gamonet, South Florida Ballet Theater and has performed with Ballet Florida. Her repertory includes: Carmen, Don Quixote, The Nutcracker, Many Balanchine pieces Theme and Variations, Who Cares, Dracula, Romeo and Juliet , The Cyclical Hour among others. She had the chance to work and learn from World renowned Choreographers such as Ben Stevenson (Former director of Houston Ballet), Jimmy Gamonet (Former Resident choreographer of Miami City Ballet), Dwight Rhoden (Artistic Director Of Complexions Company NY) and many more. She has been dancing for over 20 years and teaching it for more than 12 years.

A Little Bit About Christine: Christine is a native of Caracas Venezuela. She currently resides locally in south Florida. Hiking is her passion! She travels the world and enjoys extended time off to hike during the summers.

Anna Barrett, a yoga instructor at Vita Vie Retreat, practices yoga on rocks.

Experience: Anna has been teaching yoga since 2011. She is a certified yoga teacher and a master’s level clinician in trauma informed social work. She has pursued additional education and training in anatomy and physiology, neurobiology, Ayurvedic Science, mindfulness and meditation and somatic psychotherapy.

Approach: Anna considers yoga her true joy and passion. She loves being a part of the Vita Vie team, and takes pride in guiding guests through individualized sequencing that focuses on rejuvenation and rebalancing the mind/body connection.

A Little Bit About Anna: Anna lives in Lakeworth, FL. She was raised outside of Boston, MA and moved to FL from Denver, CO 3 years ago. Anna is an avid lover of nature and animals. In her free time she enjoys reading new books, taking dance classes, paddle boarding and playing outdoors with her two dogs.

Rachel Chang, yoga instructor, Vita Vie Retreat.

Experience: Rachel trained at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health as well as the Amrit Yoga Institute. She specializes in the yoga styles of Hatha and Yin.

Approach: In her classes, Rachel will instruct students to breathe, relax, feel, watch and allow. She encourages her students to be accepting and patient with themselves and their bodies.

A Little Bit About Rachel: A resident of West Palm Beach, when she isn’t teaching yoga, she is a full time wife and mom to two young children. Her favorite thing to do is nap with her kids.

Experience: Nicole has over 16 years dance experience and has attended many workshops to keep up with the new trends of fitness and dance.  She has studied with professional choreographers like Brian Friedman, Wade Robson, Tyce Diorio, Dave Scott and many others.  She has been featured on NBC and CBS news for her classes, is a  Board Certified School Teacher, AFAA Certified Aerobics Instructor,  Power Pilates, Tabata, Kidding Around Yoga & Zumba Instructor. 

Approach: Nicole has made fitness a priority in her life for years. But she took her dedication to another level, when she when she began teaching fitness classes in Broward and Palm Beach counties. Nicole has already amassed a following of Zumba with Nicole fanatics, and the enthusiasm is continually expanding. Her high energy, positive spirit and dedication to health and fitness carry over into the very atmosphere of each of her classes. 

A Little Bit About Nicole: Nicole resides in Boca Raton with her family. She also works with the NBA as a partner of their NBA fit program and is a Holistic Health & Nutrition Counselor.
